In today’s article, we had the pleasure of interviewing one of our customers Melodie, the owner of <\/span>Paimons Boutique,<\/b><\/a>\u00a0custom clothing <\/span>inspired by the video game Genshin Impact by Hoyoverse.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tell us a bit about your business<\/b>.<\/span><\/h2>\n

I run a small business online called \u201cPaimons Boutique\u201d. I make embroidered crewnecks, beanies and hoodies inspired by the video game Genshin Impact by Hoyoverse, a company that is very permissive regarding fan-made products. They support many artists through different programs and contests, which is really nice of them. I am located in Gatineau Canada and I am selling my products all around the globe.<\/span><\/p>\n

What made you decide to start your own business?<\/b><\/h2>\n

I have always had a lot of interest in entrepreneurship and I really wanted to start a new project during the pandemic. I am currently studying Business at the University. Starting this small business gave me a chance to focus on something positive and overcome the negative impact of the lockdown on my mental health. I started small so I did not have to invest a lot in the beginning. This allowed me to start my business without taking a huge financial risk. <\/span>I could confirm if there was any interest in my project by actually doing so.<\/span><\/p>\n

What was the biggest challenge at first and how did you overcome it?<\/b><\/h2>\n

I would say that the biggest challenge I perceived was to gain visibility. I was very afraid that there wouldn\u2019t be any interest in my products, but it only took two days for me to get my first etsy sale. It was hard to promote my brand to get more traffic to my boutique, but eventually, some of my TikToks blew up a little and now I have a lot of supporters who are always excited for my next restock! The key is consistency in your marketing strategy. I posted every day on TikTok and it eventually paid off. It is a free resource that can be so powerful for any small business out there.<\/span><\/p>\n

Where do you find your inspiration?<\/b><\/h2>\n

I find my inspiration in the video game Genshin Impact!<\/span><\/p>\n

Which techniques are you using to customize your products?<\/b><\/h2>\n

I customize my products by offering different color options. I make embroidered products, so the customer can choose the color of the thread for parts of the designs. They also get to choose the color of their crewneck or hoodie.<\/span><\/p>\n

How did you find out about Wordans?<\/b><\/h2>\n

I found about Wordans while searching on the Internet for new suppliers when I couldn\u2019t find the right color for one crewneck.<\/span><\/p>\n
