I remember the first time I properly went out with my sweatpants<\/a> on. I wasn\u2019t wearing them to go running, or because I was just going to the store and it wasn\u2019t worth changing, I was out. I went to a party at a friend\u2019s, and didn\u2019t come back till the early hours, all while lounging around in my loungewear, what a thrill. <\/span><\/p>\n

Let\u2019s face it, sweatpants are in fashion now. Covid and remote work obviously played a major role in this. You might need a shirt for a video meeting, but no one\u2019s looking at your pants, so you might as well be comfy. This went hand in hand with the fashion of the next generation. Like all generations, they wanted to look different to their parents, with a more relaxed style. So these days they all buy sweatpants, and think jeans are formal. Sorry son, but your dad\u2019s copying this one. <\/span><\/p>\n

Why I\u2019m not giving them up<\/span><\/h2>\n

Covid ended a while ago now, and we\u2019ve all gone back to normal life. I\u2019m back in the office five days a week, in a company that doesn\u2019t yet consider sweatpants appropriate clothing for the office. But what\u2019s the first thing I do when I get home? You betcha, the sweatpants go on. I can sit around in a shirt all evening, but my legs need relief the moment I walk in the door. Everything is so much more comfortable that way. <\/span><\/p>\n

\"Lower<\/p>\n

I now go shopping in them, and not just to the stores on my street. Nobody even looks at me funny anymore. I might go to the park, a friend\u2019s house, even a bar, and you can be sure I won\u2019t be the only person wearing them. <\/span><\/p>\n

This means I\u2019ve had to start thinking about where to buy sweatpants. I still have <\/span>some <\/span><\/i>pride, so I can\u2019t be wandering around the street in my 10-year-old pants, all covered in holes and paint. I\u2019m also not, unlike my son, about to spend $100 just so I can have some awful logo all down the side, even if it is in fashion. <\/span><\/p>\n

For me, the best place to buy sweatpants is somewhere that sells decent quality pants, at a good price, that don\u2019t make me look like too much of a slob. Throw in a nice range of colors and you can count on me coming back for more. <\/span><\/p>\n

Accept it, sweatpants are the future<\/span><\/h2>\n

As popular as they are, few places focus on sweatpants, so it\u2019s not always easy to find the best place to buy them. It\u2019s time everyone realized that this is one fashion that isn\u2019t going away. <\/span><\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t that long ago that wearing jeans to work was unthinkable, and before you know it employers will buy sweatpants in bulk, and customize them for their staff. They look good, they feel great, and the Kardashians wear them. You can even wear them to exercise. Get used to it, they\u2019re here to stay. <\/span><\/p>\n
