With an outer shell made from 100% nylon 228T taslan and a lining made from 100% polyester mesh in upper body with a 100% polyester taffeta liner jacket lining, this jacket is both reflective and water resistant. Additional details include a storm flap with security zippered pocket; inside placket, a thermal retention shockcord at the waist, hem and hood, thermal retention shockcord at hem, a zip-off hood, reflective piping along the yoke, adjustable cuffs with tabs, a d-ring for ID tags, gloves, and more, front security pockets, elasticized cuffs, an EZEM system®, a matching nylon taslan trim, a matching corded fleece on the inner collar and facings, and superior screen printing quality. This model comes in five bright, two-tone colors. Available in sizes XS through 5XL. UTK 3 temperature range: 30°F to -9°F / -1°C to -23°C.
I replaced the similar coat I purchased in 2005. The newer model is almost identical with the exception of front domes instead of velcro. The fit is identical, the quality is identical and if I get another 20 years out of this one I will be quite happy.
